Professional mobility of the young people
Anticipation of the new skills in the company strategies

Firstly, we would like to discuss the issue of mobility of youth workers in the automobile sector, new skills that are emerging in the sector (for example, electro-mechanicals, etc.), internal strategies of its companies in the governance of skills. We will analyze the geographical mobility of workers within the companies of automobile sector focused on young people. This will be completed by a HRD who will talk about the mobility within his company and his group strategy towards the recruitment of young people.
The European Commission will present its project “Erasmus for all” and develop the main impacts of the Employment Package’s measures on the evolution of European tools focused on young people. Will it impact skill mismatches? How the Youth Opportunity initiative will improve the integration of young people in the labour market? What are the priorities for 2012?
We will have a short debate on the European consultation on “Quality framework for traineeships” accompanying the European Commission’s communication “Towards a job-rich recovery” (Employment Package). YES-EU! would like to collect ideas from its network in order to respond to this consultation (deadline for responding: 31 May 2012).
At the end of the meeting, the ACEA will present its initiative “Our future mobility now” that will take place on 10 of October 2012.
