New trends in clusters of excellence:
The best international practices and innovative tools
With the creation of 71 clusters, the French Government’s initiative launched in 2005, won an ambitious
challenge by mobilizing nearly 6800 companies in the country and develop more than 800 projects.
This success has been facilitated by an excellent synergy at national, European and global levels, between
actors from private finance and industrial innovation ones, such as technological parks and clusters.
