About the European HR barometer
The European Club for Human Resources releases on a yearly basis a European HR Barometer exploring the evolving role of the Human Resources function across the region. The report is based on a research carried out among leading companies operating in Europe by Aon Hewitt. This initiative contributes to a better understanding of the most critical issues affecting people management in Europe, and provides new insight on the way HR supports corporate performance. The Barometer includes also a specific section on European Union policies affecting HR.
During the session we will review the new Pan-European trends and perspectives emerging from this year's survey results, and in particular:
• the changing business drivers and HR priorities for 2012-2014;
• new plans for employment, HR programmes and investment for 2012;
• the assessment of performance of HR-related activities and changes foreseen in HR organisation; and
• the perceived impact of EU policies on HR programmes and on the broader business agenda.
