The purpose of the bilingual work (Romanian and English) Romanian Perspectives Regarding the Inter-war Plans of Creating a “Danubian Confederation”. Toward a European Danube Strategy avant la lettre,  by Mihai Sebe, expert, European Studies and Training Unit,  is to undergo a synthetic examination of the evolution of the Danube issue in inter-war Romania and to realize a brief presentation of the plans for a Danubian organization created in the inter-war political and intellectual environment. The paper highlights the preoccupation of the Romanian elites concerning the evolutions on the European scene, by offering solutions and analyzing from a scholarly perspective the envisaged propositions.
