Headed by Claude Fischer, this group works on Education, training and employment.

The work program 2011 of the group InduServices and external economic policy is part of the Entretiens Economiques Européens (EEE) organized on 23 and 24 November 2011 on the theme: " Towards a social market economy for Europe : Social dialogue and industrial relations to solve the competitiveness / solidarity equation" (more information).

The group is mainly responsible for the organization of round tables on “Building a base camp for European industries within the framework of globalization” and the “Social and human investment, an essential dimension for new growth”, but also responsible for the preparation of "Dialogue with stakeholders "and dinner entitled "China and us."

Since January 2011, five preparatory meetings and a special conference on the relationship between productivity and competitiveness were organized in Paris or Brussels. The group paid special attention to studying the European industrial policies in their internal dimensions (innovation and competition policy) and external (reciprocity). The areas of spatial, transport and energy, identified as strategic sectors, are at the heart of the concerns of the group.

By November, two additional meetings should be created, one, joint groups Internal Market and Services, and Banking / Finance on corporate finance within the SMA (meeting of 21 September 2011 in Brussels), the other focusing on the impact of the crisis on SMEs (date to be determined).
