2012-03-19 : Debate with representatives from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina on Education and Youth Employment in the Region with Mia De Vits, member of the Flemish Parliament, Belgium, and Claude Fischer, Confrontations Europe president, will introduce the meeting.
2012-02-06: “Reconciliation of the Balkans through education system”.

2012-01-12: “Job-oriented” educational systems in Europe. Good practices and statistics. The current economic crisis increases the difficulties of young Europeans to find a job. Their integration in the labour market is affected by many obstacles, whether or not they have skills and diplomas. On the other hand, there are often complain about the misfit between job applicant’s skills and the skills companies can demanding.
During our conference, we proceeded to an analysis of the main European educational systems, so as to identify good practices (in particular in the field of access to employment). We thought together on the progressive creation of a European educational system meeting the needs and the challenges of the 21st Century.
Eric Charbonnier, analysist of the OECD, presented the rapport “Education at a Glance” that provides a comparative approach of the national educational systems of the EU member states. The presentation was focused on the best practices regarding the education system and the integration of young people in the labour market.
2011-12-20: Projection of “Some Other Stories”, an anthology of five short films by five directors from five different Balkan countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and FYROM) illustrating the fate of five pregnant women. The screening was followed by the debate on the present situation in Balkan countries.

2011-11-09: Presentation of Confrontations Europe and launch of the YES-EU! During the meeting the name of the youth initiative of Confrontations Europe was voted and 2 main topics of 2012 were presented:
- Balkan Tour organised by Confrontations Europe in June 2012 ;
- Construction of the European education model by young professionals ;
- Preparation of the European Economic Debates 2012 that will be focused on social dialogue and internal market.
